In today’s video, I’m sharing the meaningful Christmas goals I’m setting for this season—goals that go far beyond the usual holiday to-do list. These ideas are all about slowing down, focusing on Jesus Christ, and looking for simple ways to serve and love the people around us.

• Creating quiet, sacred moments by the Christmas tree
• Taking small everyday opportunities to serve
• Bringing back Christmas cards & connecting with loved ones
• Teaching kids the joy of giving
• Possibly adopting a family & doing the 12 Days of Christmas
• Adding Christ-centered traditions like names of Jesus ornaments & Advent
• Prioritizing devotionals that focus on Christ
• Watching the Tabernacle Choir Christmas concert
• Recording the miracles we’ve seen in our congregation
• Monthly goals like eating more raw fruits/veggies, catching up on my family blog, and decluttering through Facebook Marketplace

My hope is that these goals will help me—and maybe you too—refocus on what truly matters during this beautiful season. Even if we don’t accomplish everything, aiming high helps us create more space for peace, connection, and the spirit of Christ.
