Blunt cannula technique for under eyes is the only way to go. First, we start with a dental block (lidocaine near infraorbital nerve so you’re nice and numb). Then we make a “pilot hole” on your cheek instead of a bunch of small sticks under your eyes. This GREATLY reduces the chances of bruising and it a lot less painful. Next, we use “micro-drop” technique inferior to the orbital margin using less filler than you think you need. Filler attracts water and even the introduction of a cannula beneath the dermis will cause a collagen cascade. So in two weeks, the result is optimal! Combination therapy includes blunt cannula PDO mono threads to bring more volume to the under-eye and cheeks over time, and a little botox to soften wrinkles. As you can see from our before and after photos, our results are always subtle but stunning.
