I recently replaced the longstanding tripod that I have been using for the past 2 years my old Velbon DF-61. I asked alot of you spotters on YouTube and in person what tripod you use, and of all the ones I've looked at the standout by a large margin was the Velbon DV-7000.
After contemplating it , I finally purchased it the other week. I've used it only once spotting so far at Edinburgh Airport. But from that one time using it I must admit im very impressed with it.
I really hope to bring smoother and better quality videos to you all over the next year. Purchasing this tripod is one real asset.
I do hope this tripod review helps anyone who may be contemplating replacing their current tripod, whether it be for planespotting or other purposes.
