"It differs. There are the visitors that are around 40 and they grew up with these games, for them this is nostalgia. And then you have the children, for them it is a history lesson. They play games here that they did not know before and they say: 'OK that is the great-grandfather of the games I like to play.'"

LEADIN:
A museum has opened in Berlin focussing on the history of the video games industry.
The German capital is well-stocked with art galleries and cultural museums, so the Computerspiel museum offers gamers a light-hearted alternative to the city's high-brow offerings.
STORYLINE:
A Commodore computer - not exactly your typical museum exhibit.
But this isn't your typical museum.
This is Berlin's new Computerspiel museum which celebrates all things gaming.
The museum opened its doors on January 21, 2011. It had been opened in the late 90s, but closed down in 2000.
