Описание: Holy Wave are a psych outfit from El Paso, Texas, whose "drifting, atmospheric indie-rock fre3shly folds showgaze and surf into revivalist psychedelia" [psychedelicscene.com]. At their best, Holy Wave stand on the shoulders of some of the best drone music of our age. Think of your favourite shoe-gazing wall-of-sound merchants; in my case, Ride. At other times the drone tests your patience, but hang in there and be prepared to mine those occasions sonic diamonds.

Holy Wave's debut album, ´Knife Hits´ was released in 2011, and was quickly followed up by an EP, titled ´The Evil Has Landed´ the following year. The start of 2014 saw the band release their second album, ´Relax´, which will be supported by a Spring European tour. In 2023 they released their third studio album, 'Five of Cups', about which Treble magazine said "the vibes are great." In 2024 Holy Wave toured North America with the Portland, Oregon, indie electronic band, STRFKR.
