Character Rigging in Maya can be frustrating, but I try to make it as painless as possible.
These videos are "techniques" that I have garnered over the years for rigging a 3D Character within Maya. There are tons of artists who share their similar workflow, but this playlist is aimed at those fresh to the subject.
I mostly do not use any plugins, just what Maya ships with.
(although, I do suggest after going through this process to look into things like Advanced Skeleton and ngSkinTools)
