The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a nationwide mock drill ahead of the NEET-UG retest to strengthen security and ensure smooth conduct of the examination following the paper leak controversy. Preparations, security arrangements and coordination among multiple agencies are being reviewed at more than 5,000 examination centres across India, with CCTV surveillance, social media monitoring and around 2.5 lakh security personnel deployed.
