DJI Mini 2 Return to Home Problem Fixed! / iOS Problem Fixed! / Mini 2 Controller Problem fixed!

Описание: Is our DJI Mini 2 return to home problem fixed? For Real? We legitimately solved our Mini 2 return to home problem and another problem we had with one simple fix!

Ever since unboxing our DJI Mini 2 drone, when we used the return to home feature, our Mini 2 would turn 90 degrees and return to home sideways. More recently we also noticed the Mini 2 Controller icon on the DJI Fly App map was displaying the controller facing the wrong direction. Now this could become a huge problem because knowing your controller’s orientation to the drone is crucial in maintaining VLOS (visual line of sight) as required by FAA regulations.

We have been asking our audience for months for a simple solution to our issues with our DJI Mini 2 and although we’ve received numerous tips and suggestions, nothing has worked. After researching further, we discovered the Mini 2 Return to Home problem and the controller orientation problem may not be related to the drone or the controller at all. These problems were simply due to a calibration issue with the iOS iPhone 11 compass. The iPhone 11 does not allow for recalibration of the compass, so what we decided to do was simply delete the compass app from the cell phone and reinstall it from the app store. Surprise!!! It actually worked and now our Mini 2 Return to Home problem is fixed and the Controller Orientation problem is fixed!
