During his address at Parliament, DMK leader referred Hindi-speaking states as ‘gaumutra (cow urine) states.’ His derogatory remark triggered a fresh controversy as several Parliamentarians demanded his apology. The DMK MP also said that if these remarks have hurt someone's feelings, then he would not use it again. Senthilkumar’s comments came soon after BJP’s win Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh in the recently concluded Assembly Elections.
