One of those Canadian stories you may have kinda heard of elsewhere in the world: The government is looking to pass a bill that would potentially force streaming services to adhere to similar rules that regular TV broadcasters have to adhere to when they broadcast here. YouTube has decided to use this opportunity to run a bizarre ad campaign where they're trying to scare Canadians into signing a petition, called "Keep YouTube Yours", claiming you won't see all of your favorite content anymore, and Canadian content creators will be shown to the WRONG AUDIENCES!
