A note on the use of Cinnamon in recipes:
Ceylon Cinnamon is best and should be cooked to avoid irritation.

If you add uncooked cinnamon to recipes, monitor how your body responds, as it may cause irritation for some individuals. In general, spices are best consumed after being heated or cooked. Consuming cinnamon that has not been heated may increase the likelihood of irritation or worsening symptoms of acid reflux.**
