Описание: We were supposed to go to Crosby Beach… but we ended up somewhere completely different. And honestly? We don't regret it ONE bit 😳
So here's what happened. We originally planned to spend the day at Crosby Beach to check out the famous Another Place iron men statues by Antony Gormley. But after hearing SO much hype about New Brighton beach and how popular it's become, we made a last minute decision to switch it up and head across to the Wirral instead. Was it the right call? You'll have to watch to find out…

Getting there was an experience in itself. We took the Mersey Tunnel – the incredible underground tunnel that runs right UNDER the River Mersey connecting Liverpool to the Wirral Peninsula. If you've never driven through it before, it's honestly such a mad experience knowing you're literally travelling underneath a river. The tunnel dropped us out on the other side and from there it was a straight shot to New Brighton seafront.
Once we arrived at New Brighton, we quickly understood why everyone's been raving about this place. We walked the full length of the New Brighton promenade, explored the historic Fort Perch Rock, posed up at the iconic New Brighton Lighthouse, grabbed some absolutely banging fish and chips by the sea, threw away way too much money in the arcades (no regrets 😂), and caught the most unreal golden hour sunset over the Liverpool waterfront and skyline. The views back across the Mersey towards Liverpool are genuinely breathtaking.

But the big question remains – did we make the right choice ditching Crosby Beach for New Brighton? Is New Brighton really the best beach near Liverpool or should we have stuck with the original plan?
