RANT ON! Government Buried This Motorcycle Insurance Scandal

The Labour Party manifesto promised to tackle the soaring cost of motor insurance. The Motor Insurance Taskforce was launched in October 2024 — but with no initial mention of motorcycles. MAG asked the direct question: Are motorcycles included?

The answer from the Department for Transport (17th October 2024): “Yes, motorcycle insurance is within the remit of the taskforce.”

The final report was quietly published on 10th December 2025 — right before the Christmas recess, with a press release but no opportunity for proper scrutiny. This 34-page document, the result of 14 months of work, mentions motorcycle insurance not once.
