Pieter Zeelie´s Toyota MR2 Monster powered by Turbocharged 2GR V6 was crowned King Of The Hill on last year´s Simola HillClimb in surprising fashion beating many 1000+Hp All Wheel Drive Monsters and here we can see exactly how. Producing around 830Hp and weighing only 1020Kg, the little Rear Wheel Drive machine is a profoundly modified Monster featuring quite radical solutions like the implementation of a full race spec double wishbone setup with custom CNC alluminum uprights and stronger hubs and wheel bearings, making the car´s behaviour much more predictable and eliminating a lot of the traction issues it originally suffered from. Aerodynamically it is sporting an even more dramatic version of the APR Bodykit inspired on the legendary Super GT Toyota MR-S which wasused to race in Japan´s Touring Car series in the early 2000´s. All this makes for what is probably the most extreme Toyota MR-2 we ever seen, and one we will probably see even faster this Season...
