DQ200 transmission oil change – The VW dry clutch needs oil

Описание: Today we have something special for you: Michael Grimm, our product manager, and Michael Nowak, our technical trainer, show you how to change the transmission oil in a DQ200. This transmission with a dry double clutch is used in vehicles with smaller displacement to enable efficient and fuel-saving driving. Before a mechanic is allowed to work on such a vehicle, they must have a special high-voltage qualification in accordance with DGUV. Safety first! But be careful: although there are solutions available on the open market, when it comes to repairs, it is best to steer clear of them to avoid danger to life and limb. ⚙️ Why do we change the oil in the first place? Quite simply, this transmission also wears out its oil and loses additives. That's why the manufacturer recommends changing it after about 100,000 kilometers. 🔧 Now to the actual process: 1️⃣ Drain the oil: Collect the oil carefully, as exactly 1.7 liters must be refilled. The oil drain plug can be reused; the tightening torque is 30 Newton meters. 2️⃣ Fill oil from above: The DQ200 is filled via the baffle plate. As this is covered by the high-voltage system, we use an adapter behind the baffle plate on the vent screw. 3️⃣ After filling, place the cap on the vent screw and you're done. Final touch: Start the engine and shift through the gears once to activate the solenoid valves. And voilà, the transmission oil change is complete!
