This Biosphere 2 mini-documentary highlights the natural history and cultural uses of a few of the plant species growing in the tropical forest biome. The stories reference research in the Biosphere 2 laboratory, cultural practices of Amazonian indigenous people, and I show a couple of clips from my work in the Amazon forest.
