He then recalls the night when they got shot by an armed man, who stormed into their residence, and details how he managed to escape from their assailant while worrying about his partner, who got left behind. Authorities and volunteers conduct a search operation to find Bonquin, who went missing the night after the crime, and eventually find her naked corpse in a creek. Three months later, justice was served to the family and relatives of Bonquin as the police arrest Roque Norella, the suspect identified by Dela Cruz.
