Captain Marvel is in theaters this week and I am PUMPED! Hit me with that 90's nostalgia Brie Larson all day long please. Anyway, I haven't seen the movie just yet, since it's not really out, BUT I know a bit about Captain Marvel and I know she's deeply involved with the Kree... Now the Kree are an alien race of noble warrior heroes and they've been locked in a war with the shape shifting Skrulls for generations. Kree Warriors have a potion they drink when the chips are down and they know the end is near so that they can go can go out with a blaze of super powered glory and it's called The Odium (Latin for Hatred). It's a nasty looking opaque black liquid that charges a Kree warrior up with a final burst of unstoppable super powers and also dooms them to a creepy death where their eyes bleed out black and stuff... Also I KNOW it exists in the Marvel Cinematic Universe because it has been used in Agents of Shield. This week on How to Drink in celebration of the release of Marvel's Captain Marvel I'm making The Odium (I hope it shows up in the movie...)

The Odium
.5 oz. or 15 ml. Molasses
.5 oz. or 15 ml. Maurin Quina
2 oz. or 60 ml. Vodka
1 oz. or 30 ml. Lime Juice
Stir over ice
Smoke with Hickory
Serve as you like!
