This almost broke me not going to lie but I am very grateful to have an amazing support network!
A few things I learnt:
1. Do not rely on flights - if you wish to fly somewhere make sure you fly a day early. Always leave time.
2. Trust your gut - if you feel like someone is going to let you down don't create a whole itinerary around them!
3. Pay for accommodation up front - if you have the money and it's an option always do it. You will forget to have/put money on your card.
4. Always have everything you need in your carry on! (don't forget socks)
5. Take the elevator
