Leather Work Beginner Course Day 15: Tips for Finishing the Flesh Side of Leather

Описание: On Day 15 of our Leather Work Beginner’s Course, we’ll learn how to finish the backside of leather!

The backside (the flesh side) is the rough surface on the underside of the leather.
The smooth, shiny surface is called the grain side, while the rougher, fuzzier side is the Backside (flesh side).

Finishing Flesh Side is relatively straightforward compared to the edge-finishing technique we covered in the last lesson.
However, the tools you use for this process can dramatically affect the leather’s finish.

Understanding these differences will help you choose the best flesh side treatment for your leathercraft projects, and ideal approach in my view!
