With aim to aid the family members of the deceased post the Indore temple stepwell collapse incident, state Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on March 30 announced Rs 5 lakhs compensation for next of kin of deceased. Meanwhile, the CM also has also announced Rs 50,000 for the injured.
At least 13 people have died whereas several are feared to be trapped under the debris, after the stepwell of the Shree Baleshwar Mahadev Jhulelal Temple in Indore collapsed on the morning of March 30. Police, administration along with SDRF, QRF and several ambulances are present at the spot.
