CDT Thru Hike Ep 25: Macks Inn to Lima - "Centennial Mountains"

Описание: Centennial Mountains - In this episode of my Continental Divide Trail Thru Hike Documentary, I hike from Macks Inn to Lima. It's a 72 mile hike over 3 days.

In this section I finish the Macks Inn alternate and rejoin the official CDT in the Centennial Mountains. Now, the trail follows the Idaho/Montana border for a staggering 300+ miles. The border is represented by a fence line along the top of the actual continental divide, following the true spirit of this trail. There's some excellent views from these high ridges over massive valleys... Centennial Valley and the Snake River Plains (carved out by multiple eruptions of the Yellowstone super volcano). At one point I could see the Tetons across the Snake River Plains roughly 65 mile away, as the crow flies. I also saw some large grizzly bear prints that reminded me I was not completely alone, although I certainly felt that way.
