In this video I spend time sharing what I have learnt from the GenZs I live with and work with.
1. They Will Define The 2027 Elections; - In 2022, voters between 18 and 34 were about 8 million. By 2027, this group will grow to 14 million—close to 70% of the voting population. SiriNiNumbers.
2. Why They Are Tribeless, Partyless & Leaderless; - They are looking for solutions, not to follow political personalities. If you don’t offer real solutions, they will replace you with someone who will—regardless of age or political party.
3. They Are 'Un-Intimidatable'; - You cannot bribe, co-opt, manage or control them - especially not through the usual political tricks. You cannot sell them fear and they will not be ignored.
4. Informed Techies; - ; - They are digital natives - AI, ChatGPT, and social media is their domain. They have access to more information than any generation before them—and they use it.
5.They Can Tell Political BS From A Mile Away; - You cannot sell them PR, Optics or BS. To have a fruitful engagement requires you to be real, genuine and candid. Patronizing them will backfire.
6. They Are 'Un-Traditional'; - They unite across tribal, financial, and political lines. They focus on issues, not personalities.
7. Politicians Must Adapt or Perish; - The next political wave will be shaped by Gen Z’s creativity, intelligence, and refusal to accept the status quo. If the political class does not listen and adapt, to GenZ, GenZ will run them out of town.
