In this video, I’m taking a closer look at the Anchor Lås 880-4, a heavy-duty Swedish powerhouse known for its high-security standards. This particular model features the incredibly unique and elusive AVA "type" keyway, which looks and feels completely different from your standard pin tumbler or even a typical disc detainer.
While the goal was to perform a full teardown and get an internal view of those internal components, things didn't go exactly as planned. The tolerances on these Grade 4 locks are no joke, and this core proved to be a bit more of a mystery than anticipated.
