Описание: Moving from rented space to a permanent home in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Youth from inconceivably difficult social and economic circumstances discover their beauty and talent at Phare Ponleu Selpak NGO school, allowing them to transform their lives through art. Phare Performing Social Enterprise provides them gainful employment so they can support themselves and their families.

The performance venue in Siem Reap has been a huge success, reaching the top of TripAdvisor and Lonely Planet recommendations. There are nightly performances where these young Cambodian artists can make a decent living doing something they love. The energy is amazing, but the very existence of the venue is now uncertain. The booming tourism industry is causing rents and real estate prices to rise dramatically, soon to be out of our reach. The lease will be up soon and it's uncertain if the landlord will even renew.

The only way for Phare to continue this program is to purchase land for a stable, secure, permanent home. If not done soon, the price will be too high for this to even be an option.
