Denison Mines Corp. is a TSX and NYSE- listed uranium exploration and development company focused on the advancement of its projects located in the Athabasca Basin region of Northern Saskatchewan, Canada. The company’s flagship project is the Wheeler River project. The company holds a 95% effective interest in the project and it is the largest undeveloped uranium project in the Eastern part of the Athabasca Basin. The company also has a 22.5% interest in the McClean Lake joint venture with Orano Canada, which is comprised of several uranium deposits and the McClean Lake uranium mill. The McClean Lake uranium mill is an operating and licensed processing facility which has been contracted to process the ore from the Cigar Lake mine, majority-owned by Cameco Corporation, under a toll milling agreement.

Denison Mines Corp. holds a market cap of approximately USD$ 1.24 billion, which is accredited to the size and quality of the Wheel River project as well as the 2018 PFS conducted on the project.

The company on the 3rd of Nov 2022 published its Financial and Operational Results for Q3 2022. The highlights include the company’s recent accomplishment of recovering uranium-bearing solution from its in-situ recovery (ISR) feasibility field test work at its phoenix deposit at the Wheeler River project. The update further included the company achieving the significant regulatory milestone of submitting the draft environmental impact assessment (EIA) of the Wheeler River project to the Ministry of Environment for Saskatchewan as well as the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission. The company has also expanded the high-grade mineralisation at the McClean Lake South deposit as well as intersected additional high-grade uranium mineralisation at its Waterfound joint venture.
