Описание: The Allgäu Railway runs between the German city of Munich down to the picturesque town of Lindau along Lake Constance. Its most scenic portion is at the very south, where the unelectrified line traverses the foothills of the Alps between Immenstadt and Lindau. Up until the timetable change of December 2020, two diesel loco-hauled trains ran along this line - the Eurocity trains between Munich and Zurich as well as the "Alex" regional trains between Munich and Lindau. Both of these will unfortunately become a thing of the past, as with the electrification of an adjacent railway by Memmingen, all long-distance trains will run there instead. This also means an end to the "back window" view regular passengers can enjoy from the last car. So before these trains disappeared for good, I decided to take it one last time, and was blessed with a lot of snow.
