Day 3 of Tales of the Cocktail was all about industry insights, networking, and connecting with bartenders and brands shaping the future of hospitality. Starting at the Ritz-Carlton on Canal Street, I explored the conference home base, meeting vendors and sponsors focused on building brand presence and learning about some of the top trends driving bar success in 2025.
Key highlights included:
Industry Trends Class: How bars are tying themselves to occasions like Ladies Night, Trivia, and even year-round Pride activations to keep numbers strong.
Bartender Connections: Caught up with the SpeedRailz team and sat down with Houston bartender-turned-entrepreneur Justin, who now sells ready-to-drink cocktails.
Competitions & Collaborations: Attended a Daq Off hosted by a rum-mezcal fusion brand, met a Denver-based creator ready to collaborate, and connected with an Austin bartender already signed up for our upcoming SpeedRailz competition.
Heard Card Game Event: Networked with Herd founder and Texas-based content creator Matthew Rangle, both passionate about creating community-driven experiences for hospitality professionals.
