It’s incredible to see the comfort that a pet therapy dog brings, for example. To watch the profound connection that happens when two Holocaust survivors discover they were in the same concentration camp. And to see how the spirit lifts when a rehab patient gets the thumbs-up from a Baycrest staffer as she’s relearning how to walk.
