I usually like this soup with water spinach, but they don't sell it here in GA. Therefore, those vegetables listed down below are substitutes. Both ways still tastes great!
Ingredients:
-lemongrass paste (lemon grass, lime leaves, galangal, garlic, turmeric powder, rhizome, & dried red chilis)
-fermented fish
-pork spareribs (or thinly sliced beef)
-fish sauce, salt, sugar, tamarind base
-water
-papaya
-jalapenos (can substitute with different color bell peppers)
-tomatoes
-can add Asian baby eggplants, but I forgot
-holy basil
