Watch my Mysore to Coimbatore KSRTC Airavat Volvo B8R bus journey driving through the dangerous Dhimbam Ghat with 27 Hairpin Bends. I caught the 3:05 pm bus which was the only KSRTC Airavat bus during day time. This was my first time experience on the Dhimbam ghat in evening time. On the 9th Haripin bend the driver didnt have space to turn so he had to reverse and then turn. However, instead of revers it went ahead a bit and we all had our hearts in our mouth. The talkative lady also went silent for some time. I have always loved doing bus journeys from Mysore as the sceneries encoutered are beautiful. This was also the first time I saw a lady conductor on KSRTC Airavat.
