Two women walked into the White Heat office and threw a damn cassette on the desk, Labelled only with: "BOOM-BOOM_DO NOT PLAY."
Naturally, we played it immediately. Turns out the Vengagirls (VNG GIRLS) had spent three nights locked in a motel room with a battered drum machine, a dying VHS camcorder and a producer who only was feeding on malboros and coffe.

Nobody knows who he was.
Nobody asked.
Nobody wanted to.

The tape?
A charged New Jack weapon. Swing drums, SWV harmonies, attitude that could fold a grown man in half. If TLC had a cousin with no filter? Yeah, this' them.

Back then, the label didn’t know how to handle girl groups in general.
Now? Still not. We just released it.
Let's bring it back!

This one is based on "Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom" by the Vengaboys. Lyrics, phrasing, and structure are fully reimagined in a New Jack Style.
