In the first part, I demonstrate the two different ways anglers fish on Wooden Docks seating and standing. I talk about how angler lean their rods against the wooden dock while in the seated and standing position. I'm sure at some point everyone has experienced a rods falling over from bad placement, wind or movement on the dock. This method takes out falling of the rod and the bending over aspect while seating and standing.

In the second part, I'm showing how I use 2-35in flat bungee and strap it around the top part of the dock to form an X to hold the fishing rod. Make sure the bungee is tight before forming the X and attaching the two bungee's together. I demonstrate how using this method keeps everything at arms reach. It's important to know while using this technique you never want to leave your fishing rod unattended. Also make sure your drag is set lightly. So your rod doesn't get pulled into the water.

In the third part I demonstrate the seating and standing position while using the bungee cord rod holder. Now you can see the difference on how effective this technique is while in these positions. Again It eliminates the rod falling, bending over and keeps everything at arm reach.

The bungee technique is good for using baits such as:

*Remember all Wooden Docks are different. This dock has fencing around it. Other docks have 2-4's in between. To make the Bungee tighter just wrap it around one of the 2-4's then form the X and attach bungees together.
