Chandigarh:Police to provide lessons in traffic rules to learners

Описание: In a bid to ensure safer roads, the UT traffic police are going to provide lessons on traffic rules to those who are learning driving. The police have roped in driving schools through which learners will be sensitised.

SSP (Traffic) Shashank Anand recently held a meeting with the owners of driving schools in the city. The driving school owners were apprised of the Motor Vehicles Regulations 2017.

During the meeting, the cops have also decided to offer lessons to the learners to make sure they are aware of all traffic signs and rules.
The SSP (Traffic) said the learners would be roped in with the help of driving schools and embark one day in a fortnight for all learners.

The learners will be trained at the Children Traffic Park, Sector 23, by the Road Safety Education Cell of the traffic police. The police said basic traffic rules would be taught to the learners before they finally take on the wheels.
