असम के मुख्यमंत्री हिमंत विश्व शर्मा ने कांग्रेस सांसद गौरव गोगई और उनकी पत्नी एलिजाबेथ कोलबर्न गोगोई पर कई गंभीर आरोप लगाए और इनके पाकिस्तान कनेक्शन की जांच केंद्रीय एजेंसी से कराने की सिफारिश केंद्र सरकार भेजी है। उन्होंने दावा किया कि एलिजाबेथ कोलबर्न 2011-12 के दौरान पाकिस्तान में कार्यरत थीं और उन्होंने कुल 9 बार पाकिस्तान की यात्रा की।

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has leveled several serious allegations against Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi and his wife Elizabeth Colburn Gogoi and has recommended to the central government that a central agency investigate their alleged connections to Pakistan. He claimed that Elizabeth Colburn worked in Pakistan during 2011-12 and traveled to the country a total of nine times.
