The Lost Cabin at Nine Mile Bridge

Описание: This old trapper cabin at Nine Mile on the St. John River was built by Camille Beaulieu. He died in 2006. In 2015 the "Lost Cabin Hunters" who are now called the "Maine Cabin Masters" renovated the cabin installing a standing seam metal roof and flooring. I went to replace the chimney that was damaged when a tree fell on the cabin. I found the time capsule left by the "Lost Cabin Hunters." After finishing the project I celebrated by cooking a native brook trout I caught in a nearby stream, and sharing it with my dog Gracie.

This cabin is an official North Maine Woods campsite and is open to the public on a first come first served basis.#logcabin #offgrid #cabinbuilding
