Fish Market:

Alright guys as some of you might have already guessed from our previous videos, Raam and I love exploring markets, especially local fresh markets and now we are actually standing outside the biggest Fish Market in Split. It is absolutely vibrant, bustling and it opens around 6.30 AM in the morning and closes around 2 PM. The very cool thing is that around noon-ish the prices significantly drop. This market is actually 120 years old, you find around 50 different varieties of fish, and you know whats really cool? Unlike any other fish market in the world where you will find a ton of flies and what not, here you actually do not have that problem. The only fish market in the world. The reason is because there are sulphur springs beneath the ground. So it keeps the flies away. As well as that one really interesting fact is that there is a guy dedicated to cleaning the fish and filleting it for only around 2 US dollars, around 1.5 Euros. Super amazing. Let’s go explore!

Green Farmers Market:

Okay guys we’ve just finished checking out the fish market and we’ve walked over to the other side of the Diocletian’s Palace to check out the Green Farmers Market. You’re going to be absolutely amazed by the friendly faces, the vibrant atmosphere and most importantly : the variety! Let’s check it out.
