Deori Bihu
Assam is the meeting ground of diverse cultures. Different diverse tribes co-exists in Assam. Amongst these indigenous tribes, Deori is one of the acclaimed tribe of the north-eastern region of this state. This ethnic group domiciles in the district of Dhemaji and Lakhimpur, in Assam. These ethonological mankind celebrates an engaging festival, named as 'Bohag Bisu Utsav' which is mainly celebrated in the Assamese month of 'Bohag' (April), on its first Wednesday.
Hereby, the students of Zhumura Kala Kendra has presented a glimpse into this aboriginal tribal dance form.
