In India every few minutes, an elderly person is being abandoned, left on the streets or abused.
Studies reveal that the cases of abandoning has been increased during Covid - 19 pandemic in India.
Institutions like ‘Peace Village Wayanad’ are doing a great initiative in hosting nearly 100 inmates and providing shelter and familiy for these beautiful souls. A humble salute and dedication to these people who spared their time and life to look after the elderly.
