It’s shocking how the Trudeau government treats the Senate like a rubber stamp. The Deputy Senate Leader of the Trudeau Government introduced two supply bills worth tens of BILLIONS of dollars in the Senate, without even giving a 2nd Reading speech on either of these bills.
I asked her how much these bills would cost Canadian taxpayers. She had to look it up, saying she “wasn’t expecting questions.”
