UNC Darkside's Jonathan Nethercutt for Callahan 2015

Описание: Jonathan "Nutt" Nethercutt first learned to throw a frisbee with a friend he made at Governors School the summer before his freshman year at UNC. In the fall of 2010 he tried out and made Darkside. Since then he has played for Darkside, Cash Crop (2012), and Ring of Fire (2013-14). Nutt embodies the Callahan award; not only is he one of the best, and most creative, throwers in the nation with a fierce competitive desire to complement his skills but on the field he also upholds a level of fun and spirit respected across the division. He has captained Darkside for two years (2013-15) and has led the team to a berth in the National Championship game, the highest finish in Darkside's history. Nutt has also been a mentor to many youth in the Triangle community - coaching various teams, camps, and clinics. He has led the U19 boys team, Triforce, to a National Championship at YCCs as well as coached local high school (Carolina Friends School), middle schools (Phillips Middle School and Gravelly Hill Middle School), and various summer camps including NIKE Ultimate Camp. Most recently he has volunteered for the Triangle Youth Ultimate League (TYUL) as one of the High School League Coordinators.
