In this week’s episode, we take a huge step towards starting the Volvo 740 drift build for the very first time as we head down to HEL Performance in Exeter to get the car fully plumbed and ready to run.

We introduce Connor from HEL, who talks us through exactly what they’re going to do: building and fitting custom brake lines, fuel lines, water lines, and vacuum lines — all the fluid systems the car needs before we can turn the key and fire up the Mazda 20B rotary engine.

Before the work begins, we take a full factory tour of HEL Performance’s facility, where we get a behind-the-scenes look at how their products are made — from brake line manufacturing to their high-tech machinery and fulfilment area. It's amazing to see how everything is built right there in-house.

Once Connor and the team get to work, we leave them to it, and when we return, the car is fully plumbed and one major step closer to first start. The attention to detail and quality of work is unreal — we’re absolutely buzzing to be at this stage.
