5 years has gone by since we, SLR Honda, have held the title of 1x. In those 5 years we have had our fair share of heartbreaks, crashes and rider lineup changes. But this year...this year was different.
Tyler Lynn and Carter Klein dominated the SCROE International Championship this year with help from Ryan Surratt and David Kamo in the 250 and 1000 races. David came in clutch taking the bike from Tyler in this years 854mile Baja1000 race. Tyler ran a heroic 8.5.hr long stint from 12am to 8:30 when he handed the bike off to Kamo. As Carter took the bike over from Kamo with a heavy 200 miles to cross the finish line.
No issues, flawless pitstops and great strategy put in place by Mark Samuels, the team ended up crossing the finish 1.5 hours ahead of 2nd place. Thank you to everyone who supported and helped us regain the glorious title plate of 1x. WE ARE BACK!
