Search operation continues in J&K to capture terrorists involved in killing of defense guards

Описание: A search operation by security forces is underway in the Kishtwar region of India’s Jammu and Kashmir to apprehend terrorists involved in the killing of two village defense guard members. In a statement, the Army’s White Knight Corps reported that a joint operation was launched after receiving intelligence about the presence of terrorists in the area. “Contact was established, and a firefight ensued,” the statement added. According to defense sources, additional reinforcements were sent to the encounter site as the situation remains tense. Army personnel identified as Naib Subedar Rakesh Kumar from the Para Special Forces was killed in action, and three others were reportedly injured in the firefight. The operation was ongoing as of the latest reports.
