Описание: Multiprocessor is a system in which one operating system handles many CPUs and IOPs.

The handling of CPUs and IOPs depends on interconnection provided between CPUs/IOPs to memory units.

There are mainly five structures used for interconnection: (1) Time shared common bus, (2) Multiport Memory, (3) Crossbar switch, (4) Multistage switching network & (5) Hypercube system
