(QBR UPDATE) Busfanning with Phase 1 changes in Flushing with NEW Q20, Q61, Q63, Q90, and Q98

Описание: Under phase 1 of the Queens Bus Redesign, many routes in Flushing underwent changes on 6/29/2025 and several new routes have also been introduced. Seen here are 17 clips combined into one 9-minute long video. The changes seen throughout the video are detailed in the descriptions of each clip below.

1 (0:00) - Orion VII Next Gen 4355 from the Casey Stengel Depot on the Q15. The Q15A has been discontinued and the Q15 has been rerouted to replace it, running along 150 Street rather than 154 Street in Whitestone.
2 (0:26) - 2022 Nova LFS "Conehead" 8876 from the Casey Stengel Depot on the Q13 Rush. The Q13 has been converted into a Rush route and now runs along Sanford Avenue rather than Northern Blvd on its western end, having swapped with the Q12. The route now also terminates on Roosevelt Avenue in Flushing rather than on 39th Avenue.
3 (1:08) - 2015 New Flyer XD40 7383 from the Casey Stengel Depot on the NEW Q61 Limited. The Q61 Limited was introduced as a route running between Flushing and Beechhurst, replacing portions of the discontinued Q34, the Q16, and the Q15.
4 (1:34) - Orion VII Next Gen 4406 from the Casey Stengel Depot on the Q13 Rush.
5 (2:10) - New Flyer C40LF 237 from the College Point Depot on the Q28 Rush. The Q28 has been converted into a Rush route and has also switched from the Casey Stengel Depot to the College Point Depot.
6 (2:38) - New Flyer C40LFs 188 and 344 from the College Point Depot on the Q28 Rush.
7 (3:18) - 2022 Nova LFS "Conehead" 8778 on the Q61 Limited.
8 (4:01) - New Flyer C40LFs 195 and 636 from the College Point Depot on the Q25. The Q25 Limited has been discontinued.
9 (4:18) - 2023 New Flyer XD40 9309 from the Eastchester Depot on the Q50 Limited.
10 (4:41) - Not In Service 2022 Nova LFS "Conehead" 8921 from the Casey Stengel Depot, Orion VII Next Gen 4360 from the Casey Stengel Depot on the NEW Q90 Limited, and New Flyer C40LFs 641 and 603 from the College Point Depot on the Q26. The former Q48 between Flushing and LGA Airport has been rerouted and renumbered to the Q90 Limited. The Q26 has become a full-time route and has been extended from Flushing to College Point, replacing the Q65 which has now been cut back from College Point to Flushing. The Q26 has also switched from the Casey Stengel Depot to the College Point Depot.
11 (5:43) - New Flyer C40LF 197 from the College Point Depot on the NEW Q63 Rush, New Flyer C40LF 564 from the College Point Depot on the Q26, 2011 Nova LFS 8007 from the Queens Village Depot on the Q27 Rush, and 2018 New Flyer XD40 7778 from the Jamaica Depot on the Q17. The Q63 Rush has been introduced as a new route running between Flushing and Court Square along Northern Blvd, supplementing the Q66. The Q27 has been converted into a Rush route.
12 (6:40) - New Flyer C40LF 592 from College Point Depot on the Q26 and New Flyer C40LF 632 from the College Point Depot on the Q25.
13 (7:25) - 2015 New Flyer XD40 7411 from the Casey Stengel Depot on the NEW Q20. The former Q20B has been discontinued and the former Q20A has now been renumbered into the Q20.
14 (7:48) - 2011 Nova LFS 8076 from the Queens Village Depot on the Q27 Rush and New Flyer C40LF 189 from the College Point Depot on the Q26.
15 (8:07) - 2022 Nova LFS "Conehead" 8802 from the Casey Stengel Depot on the Q58. The Q58 Limited has been discontinued and the Q58 has switched from the Fresh Pond Depot to the Casey Stengel Depot.
16 (8:43) - 2015 New Flyer XD40 7434 from the Casey Stengel Depot on the Q20.
17 (9:00) - 2022 Nova LFS "Conehead" 8905 from the Casey Stengel Depot on the NEW Q98 Limited. The Q98 Limited has been introduced as a faster alternative to the Q58 between Flushing and Ridgewood, running along the Horace Harding Expressway and Queens Blvd rather than through Corona.

Before the end of this summer, there will be one more busfanning compilation in Flushing reflecting the Queens Bus Redesign changes. While this 9-minute video has 17 clips, there were a few changes I didn't get in this video yet. This includes, but is not limited to, the new Q12 routing and the Q65 shortening. Said compilation will likely be the last time I busfan in Flushing for a while (yes, I know I've done so MANY times since early 2023 lol).
