Here is how to spend a day in Ludington, Michigan. Located on the eastern shores of Lake Michigan in west central Michigan, Ludington is a very popular spot for shopping, restaurants, and parks along the lake. One of the parks in the city is Stearns Park which overlooks a sandy beach with a breakwater heading out to a beautiful lighthouse. For lunch I stop in at House of Flavors for a tasty sandwich as well as some blue moon ice cream.
Several miles north of Ludington is Ludington State Park which is a very popular park along Lake Michigan home to many sand dunes, wooded areas, camping, a long coastline, and the Big Sable Point Lighthouse which is one of the most iconic lighthouses in Michigan.
