Pork tenderloin cooked perfectly on the Big Green Egg, using a reverse-sear / two-zone method for maximum juiciness and flavour.
This cook starts indirect until the tenderloin reaches 59°C internal, then finishes over high direct heat with a quick 30–40 second sear per side to build colour without drying the meat out. The result is a tender, juicy pork tenderloin that’s cooked edge-to-edge just right.
Seasoned simply and paired with a fresh apple slaw, this is an easy but impressive pork cook that works just as well for a weeknight dinner as it does for entertaining.
🔥 Cook Method
Indirect heat until internal temp reaches 59°C
Switch to direct, high heat
Sear 30–40 seconds per side
Rest briefly before slicing
Final internal temp lands around 63–65°C (145°F), keeping the pork juicy
