Suika Ibuki (I love and hate her) is the final boss of the game Immaterial and Missing Power, the 7.5 installment of the Touhou series. Normally the Touhou series is composed of shmup, but there are three games (more like two and a half) that are fighting games. IaMP is one of them, so basically a fighting game with "Danmaku Hell" written all over it. Is horrible, HORRIBLE D=.

Also, the game wasn't made by ZUN, it was made by Tasogare Frontier. Probably under the supervision of the god though.

Anyways, this video was a request made like a month ago by Pingasman. He won that trivia that nobody cared about back in the Subterranean Animism Extra videos. So congrats and sorry for being late.

Anyways, he asked for one of three things:
Patchy vs Suika in IaMP Lunatic
Patchy vs Tenshi in SWR Lunatic
vs. Patchy in EoSD Lunatic

I immediately scratched the last one for two reasons: A) I want to leave that for a EoSD Lunatic 1cc, b) Patchy is hard and random. She's randomly hard

So I decided to do both of the above, but go an extra mile and show a run of Patchy's story mode in both. However, I scratched IaMP run because it was boring and uninteresting due to IaMP heavier focus on projectiles and slower pace than SWR. So I only left the fight against Suika.

In IaMP, my main character is Remilia, so fighting with Patchy was... a pretty monotonous experience. In my opinion, Patchy has amazing projectiles that will probably suck against humans, but rape CPUs. She might have decent melee, but I wouldn't know. However, the melee is worst than Remilia's, thats for sure. For these reason, my strategy with Patch was to kill my opponent with fire in the hope it would miss a graze. So, unfortunately, this is a pretty boring fight. Oh well, luckily SWR fights are more interesting.

The video quality is bad because my pc couldn't handle IaMP when I recorded. Sorry. I recorded SWR on a better pc, so those videos run fine.

BTW, about the music: since the fight was long and I didn't wanted to leave the original, I used an arrange of 御伽の国の鬼が島 ~ Missing Power and took advantage of a well positioned Royal Flare spell to loop it. It might not be an A+ work, but I believe is good enough.
