Fictions I

Описание: A series of interventions over the course of four years tracing linked installations as in progress, speculative components of Walter Benjamin's unfinished Arcades Project.

The following documents an ongoing durational concept project linking And All That Came After (Benetton Fondazione-2023), Inertial Frames of Reference (IFOR 2023) based on Jill North's 'Two Views on Time Reversal', Alerta d'Atenció/Alerta of Attention - or 'worldlines,' based on Minkowski's hermeneutics (2024). Estació de Treball/Station of Work (2025) was a homage to Walter Benjamin's final days in the face of fascism -- reclaiming bits of the manuscript that were lost to time when he died - by using the tools of speculative fiction to unfurl the red thread that links memories both past and future to one another through deconstructing and then reconstructing components that have always been, into something altogether different but familiar, archaic yet novel, here and gone.
